MIXIELAND
no a.i. and no complications - mixing done by a friendly human.
1. Create a new folder - this is where your files will go.
2. Export the latest mix of your track into the new folder. Label it as: your band/artist_song name_rough mix.wav.
3. Ensure you're happy with the way your multitracks are edited before you export them.

4. Export multitracks from your DAW (Logic, Pro Tools etc) into the new folder using the following settings:
- Sample rate = same as the sample rate of your project.
- Bit depth = 24-bit.
- 'Zero' the volume of all tracks and ensure no tracks are clipping.
- Mono tracks exported as mono, stereo tracks exported as stereo.
- All exported tracks must start at 0:00 even if the sound comes in later.
- Any effects/panning will be baked into the track at this point so bypass anything that you don't want to make it into the final mix.
5. Once export has completed, check that your new folder contains a separate WAV file for each of the tracks in your project.
6. Label each track as: your band/artist_song name_instrument/track name e.g. The Smithsonians_This Calming Man_Guitar Amp.wav.
